The new hotel rooms at South Point will feature a variety of upgrades to reflect an elegant and modern design with new amenities. Sounds like a good excuse to try the $20 trick if you’re staying for longer than a weekend. The new rooms will cost an extra $10 upgrade fee from the old hotel rooms at the casino. By the end of 2018, more than 630 newly designed rooms will be available for guests. The three-year renovation project at South Point will refurbish one hotel tower each year and should be complete by September 2020. The hotel already has 100 new rooms on sale for reservations beginning in May 2018. Like other recent hotel room renovations, guests won’t have to for all of the rooms to be updated to stay in an upgraded hotel room at South Point. The first phase of the redesign will begin in April and will be completed by September 2018. Each of the 2,049 rooms and 84 suites will feature new furniture, luxury flooring, crown molding, mini refrigerator and bathroom upgrades. The renovation will include all three hotel towers at South Point. The South Point Hotel, Casino, and Spa recently unveiled a $40 million remodel plan for its hotel rooms.
